nice style and fit but surprisingly lightweight

These are a lovely style, with the high waist and pocket design. Size 14 and they fit well, perfect length. However, I was surprised that these were made with such a lightweight denim, which I would associate much more with a shirt or dress. I hope they don't rip easily.
